Here in North Staffordshire we are blessed with many local football sides, professional and within the non-league sector for people to go and support.
As the Fancy Drag Race is our first ever men’s only event, we are looking to get local football teams involved and support their local Hospice.

So we saw this image of Hollywood superstar Ron ‘Hellboy’ Perlman, promoting his latest film Frankie Go Boom at the SXSW film festival; and it got us thinking about the Fancy Drag Race.

Welcome to our brand new Fancy Drag Race blog!
As this is a new event for the Dougie Mac, we are hoping to do things a little differently here.
Here you will find pictures from supporters all kitted out ready for the race on Sunday 27th May.
We will also give shout outs to supporters when we hit entry milestones such as 100th entry, 250th etc.
There will also be some taster here, for what you can expect to see on the day.
