We just received this wonderful post on our Facebook wall from one of our supporters Matt Myatt, who along with his work colleagues on Ward 1 at Harplands Hospital raised over £1,300 for the Fancy Drag Race.

The run/walk will begin on the Iron market in front of the Roebuck Centre.

Car Parking

There are a number of Car Parks in the centre of Newcastle – The closest to the event being the former Sainsbury’s site or the multi storey behind the Roebuck centre.

Warm up

There will be a warm up at 9.30am.

The course

Water is available at the Start/Finish.

Volunteer marshals en route.

First Aid – we are supported by St John Ambulance on the course.

Stokies Have Got Talent!

We have just over 10 days to go until our Fancy Drag Race, and with Britain’s Got Talent hitting all the headlines over the weekend we thought show stealer David Walliams could provide some more tips for what to wear on the day.

Having starred in Little Britain and Come Fly With Me, he has certainly donned a frock once or twice in the name of entertainment.
